to show you how a customer blinged up her SGB clothing she bought at the Scrapfest - looks pretty cool I have to say - well done Yellow Bird Scrapping!
I have a lot of things going on.. and stuff I need to sort out - so my blog will be off the air for a bit.
I hope the media stop the feeding frenzy until the truth is known
have been sick with a cold all week - so it was a struggle to get those samples made - and I just have not had time to take pics and post them - will do that next week. Well maybe I will - only have 2 days here before we leave for Cancun! But I did get them finished YAYY
Was originally leaving tomorrow - cos I thought setup was Friday night - well upon reading the schedule again - turns out set up is FriDAY - OOPS - luckily it worked out that we could leave a day earlier.
So in a couple of hours will hit the road for the long drive - only meant to be 7 hours - but as we have to trek through the middle of LA - that will stuff us up with traffic - so will probably take longer.
Driving back here on Monday - and probably won't have time to blog from the road - so stay safe and have a fun long weekend!
Oh yes - and in terms of the New Year - New Me - we are getting there - although I have to say 13 pounds is a drop in the bucket in terms of how much to lose - and I cannot see any difference yet - but glad that much as gone so far!!
well when I say scrap - I mean make up two samples - but I think it counts... yes?
I have been so unscrappy for soooo long - do not know what my problem is. I am not inspired by looking at galleries, I am very *whatever* about the mags coming through the door ... so much so.. that I have let all but one subscription lapse.... and I even have been to my favouritest ever LSS and not bought so much as one thing!
**GASP**
Yes it is true!
But today.. like it or lump.. I must scrap. I have a show this weekend in San Diego - and over the weekend Mike and I got everything ready. It is all labelled, priced, packed and stacked - flyers, signs and labels printed off - and all the hardware like gridwall and baskets ship shape and ready to throw into the car.
So all that is left is these last two limited edition samples - I can't put it off any longer!
Who knows - I might even post pics when I am finished!
I really think it should be two parts non-conformity with just a splash of style!

SNEEZY has shown up.
Felt a little off last night - woke up this morning - sore throat, runny eyes, snivelly and sneezing my head off.
I don't need this right now!!
Now I am in need of DOC
seem to have moved into our house. Yesterday was the first day back into our normal routine after the Christmas break.
Well first of all SLEEPY appeared. Cait got home from her first day back at school just after 12 and promptly fell asleep in the armchair. I kept trying to wake her up - it seemed like every 20 minutes and finally at 4pm I gave up having my head bitten off and just left her there and got on with my work. When Mike got home at 6 he finally booted her out of it - amidst a lot of angst - she got up, had dinner and a shower and was in bed by 9!
GRUMPY appeared a little earlier in the day. Hannah had her first day back at college starting at 10am - but her day started at 5am for work. She rang me about 10.30 from college to say her class had been cancelled - not just for the day but for the semester - why can't they notify the students of this before they go out there!! So she came back home as her next class was not until 1.30. In the intervening time - I had to put up with a LOT of grumpiness at having to go back to school and having to find a replacement class which she eventually did. However it now means her Tuesday is an 8-4.30 college day so she is most unhappy about that.
My comment about "welcome to the real world" met with a very snarky response.
So where is HAPPY when you need him!!???
