Meowy Christmas

as you know if you follow my blog - we had a rough start to the month with one of our beloved cats going missing.   However we were so lucky to find him again.      In the course of his MIA - we went to the shelters to see if he had turned up there.    To say it was heartbreaking was an understatement.    So many pets lost, abandoned and the like.  

We always do something at this time of year to help those less fortunate than us by taking boxes of food to the foodbank - in fact we do it all year around.    But this year we have added a new donation to our list - the local pet shelter.   They are always always in need of blankets, toys, litter, petfood and old papers.   

So we have put together this lot of goodies and will take it down later today - and try not to adopt every cat they have while we are there!

They also are always in need of volunteers - and I would love to do that - but I honestly do not think I could - it would just break my heart.
