Two Classes Offered each day:
You will learn how to get comfortable with the markers, learn light sourcing, shading
and highlighting along with other practical techniques to bring your coloring to life!
5 hours for $90 (35 min. break)
We go over a lot of fun but more difficult techniques—you MUST have experience using your markers and be ready for advanced techniques.
If you take the Basic/Interm. Class you WILL be ready for the advanced class. You must know the BASICS because I will not repeat those lessons in the Advanced Class! We will learn all about advanced shading and coloring techniques and fun ways to use your Copics. Both classes are HANDS ON INSTRUCTION!!
I think I am back to normal - and caught up on sleep now - a week after I got home!!
As much as I love going to CHA it certainly takes it out of you - and the work does not finish when you leave.
I will be spending the next week - uploading all the items into my inventory and accounting program so I am ready to go once everything starts arriving (tomorrow!!)
In amongst all that - I am getting ready for the first retreat of the year which is coming up in just 16 days along with getting ready to teach a class on Saturday, and making a project for a new Teresa Collins Project Class that we will be running each month!
But to whet your appetite here is a list of the new companies we will be carrying in the Scrapgrlz Store:
Janlynn Steampunk items
My Minds Eye
We R Memory Keepers
As well as that - new items will be arriving from:
First sorry the blog has been a bit lacking in content - it has been a busy couple of weeks.
I am leaving tomorrow morning to drive to Anaheim to attend the CHA winter show. I have everything organised, a list of the booths I definitely want to see - a list of some I am interested in - and as usual will do a walkthrough of all the aisles of booths to check out all the aspects of the crafting industry (note to self wear comfortable shoes!)
As tiring as the next few days will be - I love the show. It is so nice to see the collections for real - and to meet the designers of the collections and the various scrappy superstars that make fantastic layouts and goodies with the new stuff.
I plan to try and fit in every single Make n Take I can - and I am also doing a couple of classes - always nice to refresh and get new ideas.
I will be posting photos etc from the show hopefully here on the blog - but it may be facebook updates so make sure you Like the Scrapgrlz page!
Please note the Scrapgrlz Store will be closed tomorrow and next Wednesday while I am away but will be open as usual next Thursday!
